Another win with Speedo
Oakwood went back to their roots after being asked to create a new server room in Blackburn for a major wholesale sports clothing distributor.
Pentland Brands, owners of Speedo awarded Oakwood the contract to create a new computer room at their premises in Blackburn. The project entailed the supply and installation of Airedale down flow close control air conditioning units, with a new raised floor complete with supply air grilles, and a water leak detection system. Oakwood also installed a new suspended ceiling, light fittings, full height partition walls and new security locks.
Included in this project Oakwood sub contracted TYCO, to install an Inergen Fire Prevention System with a Vesda early warning system.
The project value was £40,000 and was completed on time and on budget.
Pentland Brands also invited us back to look after the equipment with a full service and maintenance agreement, again reflecting the professionalism of Oakwood?s approach.
