Detailed plant inspections improve plant effectiveness
Over the past few years we have developed a particular expertise in carrying out detailed condition surveys on existing M&E systems. Our services are now regularly used by some of the UK's best-known property companies, surveyors and consultants wanting to have full knowledge of the condition of older systems to assist with dilapidation claims.
Initial visual surveys are followed up by in-depth intrusive investigations of equipment, pipework and duct systems including LPHW and chilled water analysis, corrosion reports and microbiological sampling and analysis. The accumulated knowledge of a multitude of types of air conditioning and heating systems, built up over the past thirty years, by Oakwood's technical and maintenance staff gives us an un-rivalled ability in this area.
Based on the data gathered and the test results a comprehensive report is prepared, including full photographic evidence. Feedback from our clients, on the quality and usefulness of our reports, is consistently positive and we invariably receive many repeat commissions.
